The Revolution Bee Boxes
All made in the USA. Boxes are made from ponderosa pine and kiln
dried. With a new top box
joint at 1-5/8 the most common weak point in the box just got stronger.
Boxes have the same frame
rest dimensions with improved strength.
We do NOT cull out the select grade; all boxes are commercial grade
or better.
It just makes sense; a longer lasting stronger bee box pays you back
in money & honey!
Lids & bottom boards
Our lids are custom made to our design out of 3/4plywood, with
top cleats for added strength.
The same dimensions as the top of the box, leaving no hanging edges
for the wind to catch and blow
it off your hive. With a secondary bee entrance and a bee space rim
built into the lid, making
feeding & treatments easier (no inner cover necessary).
Bottom boards are ¾ plywood with the standard s3/8
bee space entrance and 3x1 bottom cleats
for added strength and durability.
These lids and bottoms are then dipped in 100% beeswax & pine resin
making the equipment more
resistant to the elements, improving the life of your lid & bottom
board for many years!
